Lake Park Friends

Lake Park Friends is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the preservation and enjoyment of Lake Park, to sponsor educational, recreational and cultural events in the park, and to raise funds for the restoration and enhancement of the park in the spirit of Frederick Law Olmsted.

Lake Park is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The battle against invasive plant species is a year round effort in Lake Park. And, helpers are needed to check and fill bird feeders daily. For more information, go to Volunteer.

Performance Structure

Construction of the performance structure has begun in Picnic Area #3. It will replace the plywood platform stage used previously. The new stage will have a concrete base and a timberframe superstructure, allowing the natural backdrop of the wooded ravine to be visible.
