Lake Park Friends
Lake Park Friends is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the preservation and enjoyment of Lake Park, to sponsor educational, recreational and cultural events in the park, and to raise funds for the restoration and enhancement of the park in the spirit of Frederick Law Olmsted.
 
The battle against invasive plant species is a year round effort in Lake Park. And, helpers are needed to check and fill bird feeders daily. For more information, go to Volunteer.
 

 

Waterfall Ravine Restoration

Work has begun on restoring the original features of the Waterfall Ravine.

 

Bridge Repair

The north Lion bridge is now under construction and is closed to pedestrian traffic until September 2009.
