Music in the Park - Lake Park Friends

In 2011, Lake Park Friends is proud to present the 14th season of Musical Mondays. Thallis Drake, Presenter, has arranged another wonderful roster of musicians to make Monday a day to look forward to in the summer. These enjoyable concerts are presented in cooperation with Milwaukee County Parks, with a generous donation from the Coles Family Foundation.

Wonderful Wednesdays is a series of four concerts geared for children and their families. These presentations will be held July 6, 13, 20 and 27. Katie West, Lake Park Board of Director member, is the volunteer organizer of the Wednesday concerts.

Concerts will go on, rain or shine. Musical Mondays concerts are from 6:30-8 p.m. The Wonderful Wednesdays concerts are just one hour in length, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

In case of inclement weather, the concert will move to the Marcia Coles Community Room in the lower level of the Lake Park Pavilion, but everyone should hope for sunny Mondays and Wednesdays.

These concerts are FREE and open to the public. All concerts take place in Lake Park Picnic Area #3, just south of the playground and tennis courts.
